Partnerships with parents and the wider community are highly valued by all at School of the Good Shepherd. The school promotes decision-making by many groups, and actively encourages participation by many. Junior School Board is made up of representatives from each classroom. The Junior Board discusses, communicates and implements their ideas across the school. This group also represents the school at many functions and events. They are involved in projects such as designing a new playground, monitoring quiet Games played outside. Parents and Friends Association meets to organize social and fund-raising events across the school. The School Advisory Board comes together to issues concerning the school. Dad’s Army was set up in 2004, to co-ordinate Working Bee’s and to show that Fathers have an important role to play in the education of children. Partnerships are also valued with:
